M O D Bunk

Modbunk bed is very strong and reliable with all the attributes of the Mod bed. It looks equally at home in both domestic and contract bedroom settings. The construction is manufactured & tested to British Standard EN747, as are all of our bunk beds. Modbunk can easily be split into 2 single beds if need be. This is a fantastic space saving bunk, but providing extra beds when needed. Laminated side rails for extra strength and a leaning ladder therefore preventing tip over. Our side rails are constructed by using the process called “LVL” which is an engineered timber and is known as structural composite lumber and now often used for joists. So you can see where the strength is against solid pine or even solid rubber wood, as both could use finger joints in the timber and this is where the strength is lost. Manufactured from a very good quality rubber wood, also the bunk bed will provide additional bed space in smaller rooms. This bed frame has been tested and certified that it will take 300kg in weight, which is over 47 stone. So, each bed when split will take 150kg (over 23 stone). The ladder has flat steps for extra comfort, but without compromising on the safety of the child when descending. Available in 3ft Single, in White or Antique Pine.
